Founded in 2010, the Hot Sugar Band has become one of the most popular bands in the world of Lindy Hop and swing dance.

Based in Paris, the band has performed on the stages of many important swing events around the world in Sweden, Hungary, Lithuania, Canada, Spain, South Korea, and China.

Their unique sound and their endless energy on stage have made the band one of the most successful and sought-after in the world of swing dance.

Giorgio Cuscito’s Woodchoppers

On Saturday 12th Oct on the Swing’n’Milan stage it will be also the well-known saxophonist Giorgio Cuscito, one of the leading exponents of national swing playing for the Lindy Hop and other Swing dance genre of Swing dance!

On stage with him, a number of prestigious jazz musicians: Francesco Licitra on sax, Sandro Di Pisa on guitar, Guido Bianchini on double bass and Alessio Pacifico on drums.

With Giorgio Cùscito’s Woodchoppers,the alchemy between the stage and the dance floor, fun and quality are always guaranteed to keep your dancing feet happy!

Monday Orchestra

On Sunday, the Monday Orchestra, directed by Luca Missiti, will take the stage. The orchestra consists of 18 musicians with many years of experience in established ensembles throughout Italy.
The project was born with the aim of bringing together the best musicians and creating an ensemble capable of revisiting swing classics and jazz standards, but also pop or funk songs

Chicago Stompers Swingtet

The “Chicago Stompers” is the youngest “hot jazz” orchestra in Italy performing the repertoire of the American and European orchestras from c. 1924-1933. The philological use of vintage musical instruments, instrumentation and inspired period clothes, together with a unique, peppy and sparkling show, is the most distinctive feature of this ensemble, which has already treaded the boards of the most important “classic jazz” events in the world.

DJ Mister DiP

With a background as a radio announcer, he is now a DJ and MC with international experience, having made lindy hoppers dance at festivals halfway across Europe. As an avid Lindy Hop and Balboa dancer, he also moves with ease back and forth from the console to the dance floor.

While he’s an enthusiastic supporter of swing in all its aspects, he also has a peculiar interest in other musical genres that are most appreciated by dancers. He is resident DJ at Swing’n’Milan, Tuscany Balboa Weekend and Swing Breeze in Blevio.

Mister DiP’s playlist is mainly filled with classic dances from the period from the 1920s to the late 1940s, as well as with the most popular songs played by the best swing bands worldwide.

If requested, selections are expressly tailor-made on specific themes to make the music even more dancefloor-friendly, for example, “the sound of the Big Bands” or “the swing of New York and Harlem.”

SwingphonyDj (aka Andrea Milan)

His repertoire focuses on original swing music from the 1920s to the 1940s, although from time to time he likes to offer to his audience some covers of modern songs revised in a swing mood.

His goal is to entertain listeners and dancers by trying to convey to his audience his passion for swing music and culture, and he often loves to play the music from the vinyls he patiently collects and collects.

I approached Jazz music at an early age thanks to my uncle, who loves jazz.
I have been fascinated by artists like Charlie Parker, Gerry Mulligan, Clifford Brown and Sonny Stitt. I then approached the Big Band of the ’30s and’ 40s and finally I discovered the small formation like Fats Waller, Wingy Manone, Skeet Tolbert and many other. I started collecting music in discs (formats 33 and 78 rpm) and CDs since I was 6 years old.

My musical style is mainly focused on Small and Medium Jazz Band of 30’s and 40’s. I dance and teach Lindy Hop, Authentic Jazz and regularly perform as a DJ for dancers. I performed as DJ in many international Lindy Hop dance festival.
